Health & Wellbeing Lead
JOB PURPOSE
To support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of health and wellbeing programmes
within Luton Town Community Trust, The role involves direct engagement with
participants, administrative support, and collaboration with internal and external
stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering health and wellbeing programmes.
- Facilitate sessions and engage with participants across diverse age groups and
backgrounds.
- Collect attendance data, feedback, and case studies to support impact reporting.
- Support outreach activities and represent the Club at community events.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and equality policies.
- Work collaboratively with other Trust staff and wider team.
- Support volunteers and sessional staff during programme delivery.
- Assist with scheduling, venue booking, and preparation of session materials.
- Help with reporting to funders and internal stakeholders.
- Support funding applications with relevant data and case studies.
- Support match day activations on a rotating basis.
Person Specification:
Essential:
- Experience in delivering community health or wellbeing programmes.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse community groups.
- Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety practices.
- Organisational and administrative skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Desirables:
- Experience working in a sports or football club environment.
- Knowledge of local health priorities and services.
- Experience supporting funding applications or reporting to funders.
- Relevant qualifications in health, wellbeing, or community development.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Level 3 qualification in health, sport, community development, or related
field (or equivalent experience or willingness to undertake).
- Safeguarding training (or willingness to undertake).
- First Aid certification (or willingness to undertake).
Additional Information:
- This role 12 month maternity cover role.
- Applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
