Football Development Officer (Schools Based)
Luton Town FC Community Trust is on the lookout for a passionate and driven UEFA qualified coach to join our Football Development team. This role involves delivering age-specific PE coaching to secondary school students at one of our partner schools in Bedfordshire, whilst also supporting the development of our Post-16 Football and Education programme.
Job Description:
· Plan, deliver, evaluate and record high-quality coaching sessions tailored to young people aged 11–18.
· Support the growth and performance of players across both PE lessons and our Post-16 squad.
· Track individual development and provide feedback through structured parent/player reviews.
· Liaise with school staff and line managers to ensure PE lessons and football sessions align with our coaching syllabus.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
· UEFA C / FA Level 2 coaching qualification (minimum)
· Up-to-date FA DBS, Emergency Aid, and Safeguarding Children certificates
· Minimum 2 years' coaching experience, ideally with young people in sports development or school environments
· Passionate about player development, with a positive and professional approach
· Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable:
· UEFA B licence
· Previous experience working in a professional club, football academy or secondary school setting
· Full UK driving licence
The Ideal Candidate Will:
· Have a strong background in football and/or PE, and understand how to plan and adapt sessions to suit all abilities
· Be organised, reliable, and take pride in professionalism and integrity
· Inspire and engage young people, serving as a positive role model both on and off the pitch
· Work well independently and as part of a team, always going the extra mile for your players and colleagues.
