Trainee Content Producer

JOB PURPOSE
- Assist in creating, editing & delivery of high quality, engaging video content with a particular focus on the academy.
- Support the content team during shoots including setting up lighting and audio & acting as a second camera operator.
- Contribute creative ideas during pre-production and planning stages of shoots.
- Shoot and edit video content to a high standard, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines & content strategy.
- Develop technical skills in filming & editing, while gaining an understanding of professional sports media operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Filming at academy matches to support the growth of our academy on social media.
- Occasionally film first team training sessions & produce engaging, story-driven edits that align with the content strategy.
- Filming & editing player features and community events
- Assist with video production from concept to delivery including planning, setting up shoots & producing final edits.
- Edit footage into deliverables appropriate for different channels ensuring correct aspect ratios and optimising for engagement (long-form, short-form, social, website).
- Manage the server archive Phokus by uploading footage, sorting folders & labelling clips ensuring footage is easily retrievable for future use.
- Filming & editing content for club partners following strict briefs from the commercial team.
- Film & edit interviews with players, coaches and staff for internal and external communications.
- Attend and cover other Club activities/events in the community.
- Gathering analytics of video performance and comparing with other clubs.
- Film and edit first team press conferences & provide clips for Social Media Manager.
- Conduct on-camera interviews with academy players and coaching staff for video website content.
MAIN JOB REQUIREMENTS AND PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Excellent time-management skills and ability to turnaround features/work against tight deadlines, being able to respond to quick changes.
- Basic experience with video production including filming, editing, and post-production.
- Excellent communications skills across all levels
- Experience of producing content for YouTube and social media
- Experience of editing/uploading videos
- Committed, enthusiastic and passionate about football and the delivery of all news and information from Luton Town Football Club.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays as required.
- Be an ambassador for Luton Town Football Club, always presenting the Club in a positive image.
